Qualifications

To become an official requires a minimum number of conditions. You must be 18 years of age and a high school graduate or holder of a G.E.D. You must be in adequate physical condition and possess a history of integrity, respect, and professionalism.

Expenses and Fees

First year expenses for uniforms will be between $150.00 and $250.00. There is also a registration fee of $65.00 that will include all training manuals and accident & liability insurance. In most cases, officials have the opportunity to make more than enough money in game fees to cover their first year registration and uniform expenses.
